I love trying new sports and fitness techniques and have participated in gymnastics, ballet, belly dancing, boxing, wrestling, powerlifting and running. My diverse sports background allows me to better connect with athletes of all disciplines and activity levels.
As a former high school French and Spanish teacher, I have extensive experience working with students, and have served as a high school powerlifting and sports conditioning coach for the past two years.
In addition to working with young people, I have also worked with older individuals, those with lower activity levels, and those with joint pain and can guide you through a more gentle training session to help you achieve your goals in a way that works best for you.
While I have extensive sports-related experience, I firmly believe in working from the core out and place a strong emphasis on building basic core stabilization, posture, and balance techniques in my clients. I have taught multiple classes featuring strong core, balance, and flexibility components and believe that establishing basic body awareness patterns ultimately improves every client’s goals.
